"Take case of a friend's e46 320i
Was rear ended, and then slammed the car infront of it because of impact.
Atlantic Autobody: Oh yeah well fix it @ 12K or something upsurd
European Autobody: WRITTEN OFF
She lost 2k on the car since she bought it about 2 years prior, and now has a much better and newer 330Ci M sport. She got almost all of her cash back from the 320."
Slight off topic, when going through insurance (which she was cause the car was written off), the insurance companies make their own estimates. Insurance companies do go shopping around who will give them the best quote on your repair. That is why insurance companies employ Independent Appraisers who's whole job is to go out and do estimate on insured vehicles.
Also I have nothing but good things to say about 427 Auto on Evans Ave in Etobicoke. If anyone has been in there they know it's like a hospital...

I recommend Heartland BnB collision center at mississauga. Right now my car is been repaired there. Went to take a look at the job and they actually went to get my paint tested at the labs and came out with 14 different color samples to insure that the paint they use matches well with my 2001 BMW steel blue paint which have faded abit which is normal.

Sort of looks like a hole-in-the-wall but the shop is actually ridiculously clean. Nice people, nice place, and they'll let you take a look at them fixing your car. Plus they'll beat the competition for price (give them a quote the competition has and they will beat it). Let me know how it goes if you decide to use them. Labor rates were great too.

Atlantic Autobody gets my vote. Rich(Evil M3) Does some of the best work out there. He won't release the car if it's not 100%. Life time warrenty as well. He's done all my cars and dozens of Max members as well.

I dunno about Atlantic tbh.... I had a REALLY bad experience with them a few years back.
All I'm gonna say is returned for paint peeling and storage fees out the ass. I dunno who did the work, this Rich guy might be good I'm not knockin him.

I called EA for a quote to repaint my front bumper...
(...as most of you know; on my sapphire black metallic 335i convertible...)
They wanted $750.00 + taxes and there is barely any prep to be done, just want to get rid of some ugly stone chips... I personally think that’s absurd.

I guarantee you Stephanie that Hi-Tec Collision will get you that bumper painted for WAY less. I'd call them for a quote.

EA is bend-me-over-and-****-me-without-lube pricing. Quality work though (so yeah, the ****ing must be good I guess).
I've tried CFD Auto in Thornhill. Good work for the price, might be worth to give them a call. I've heard decent things about Autopia who are a max sponsor.

Stephanie, call them back and talk with Manny... Tell him Kris with the silver coupe and the BMW Big brakes told you that they are over charging. He will for sure reduce the price.
PS: Manny is the son of the owner of EA.
