Atlantic Autobody: Oh yeah well fix it @ 12K or something upsurd
European Autobody: WRITTEN OFF
She lost 2k on the car since she bought it about 2 years prior, and now has a much better and newer 330Ci M sport. She got almost all of her cash back from the 320.
If you are going to fix an accident car, I would go to European Autobody first. If it wasn t for them, she would be driving around in a bent frame crap mobile, with frame damage, making the car never the same, as well as questionable safety.
So, let me count, thats 2 shops that are crap so far.
Also, there is this thing called insurance. We pay a fortune in Ontario compared to the rest of canada. I intend to use it to full extent if necessary, a sort of return on investment if you wish.

Again, you are missing my point,

What 344i is trying to say...

is that the vast majority of shops do crappy work, yet still good enough to pass unnoticed to the average consumer.
When the odds are stacked soo masively against you, he would rather pay more to have long term piece of mind, than to try his luck at some newly recommended place.
I guess one has to take into consideration how long one plans to keep their car.

And I don't disagree with that at all.
And again, I do agree and know that European Autobody is one of the best, if not the best, but all I'm saying is that doesn't make other shops necasarily garbage.
That is all, and I hope everyone can get it now, otherwise I will have to start hurting people,

European Autobody is the Best....
However, Rob and the boys at Phoenix have been doing my previous cars for years now! They do excellent work.
However if money is not an issue (Insurance EA is as good as they get)
PS: I will have Phoenix paint my roof spoiler for me, small stuff I give them the jobs, big stuff goes to EA.

Uni-Body Collision is the ONLY place I would consider doing body work or mods. They specialize in BMW, Audi, Mercedes, VW, Porsche and they have a lifetime guarantee on their repairs.
They are in a brand new shop with all new equipment and their employees are rediculously knowledgable - 1 of their painters was factory trained by bmw in germany and has a chemistry degree ffs !
Their prices are good and they are hella fast, I went to a few body shops to grab an estimate and based on my damage the fastest time for repair was uni-body at 2 days, the only other fastest time was 4 days - they said they can repair quicker with better quality because their facility uses brand new technology and their techs know their jobs
check them out: www.unibodycollision.ca. They also do more than just body work, it's a great shop.

I would like to add another vote for european autobody.
Having said that, no paint job is better than OEM, unless your OEM paint was ****ed somehow.
also, thinking of a paint job as an "investment" which will make your car "full of value" is an ass hair short of retarded.
