Hello!
I am Skeo and I'm new to this forum! I'm also (more actively) involved on bimmerforums as "Skeo".
Are there any meets that happen in the winter or is everyone afraid of the cold? I'm in Ottawa for the next 4 months on a work term. I have a Boston Green e36 328i:

Welcome!!
Don't listen to bmwconnect, there is PLENTY of things that happen in Ottawa. Things like parking your "ultimate driving machine" for half the year, as well as other things...which I can't think of off the top of my head.
I slide around in the snow every second I get, but other then that Mr. Eastwood is my daily driver for now.

FYI the 417 this morning was incredibly horrible. Full winter tires and even a touch of throttle with ASC on at 50km/h (in 5th gear, too) caused the rear to step out. People skidding *everywhere*.
I just bought a bus pass. Less salt on my car, less gas to burn, less chance of it winding up in a wall/ditch/tree. Roll on spring!

Hi I am new to BMW's and to this forum.
I just bought a 1991 E30 318 with an M50 swap a few weeks ago and am starting to learn...
I have been involved with the VW clubs for 8+ years with my 1997 VR6 Turbo and now I am looking to learn all over again with this car.
Car is in my garage and now I am piecing some parts together... wheels, 5 lug e30 M3 conversion, etc.
I will be doing some minor body work and pain work and hope to have the car on the road for May.

Bought the car from a member on this forum in Toronto and trailered it back to Ottawa this past weekend.
It is a clean car for sure. Only needs some body work to be mint.

Looks good! Congrats and welcome.
If you're interested, I'm sure you'd have a lot of fun with that at an autoX. You should come check one this summer!
