yeah man, the snow sucks here in the NYC today. My bimmer is sleeping in my heated garage, it won't be coming out till the streets are clear. i've been driving the ML 320 all day today and getting around wasn't a problem either.

Good thing it was a holiday today and not too many people ventured out in the storm.

well this audi (80 quattro) has a rear differential lock, which basically prevents the rear wheels to spin like crazy, but to spin only a bit so that they can push the car forward, from where the front wheels take action. BUT you must do it slowly cause if you do it fast the front tires will spin too fast and you will do nothing. The audi's that are the BEST are the old school one, the GT and audi 4000 which have FRONT and REAR locks, so that it is practically impossible to get stuck. the differential lock disengages itself after 15MPH
BTW DAVE that is sickkkkkkkkkk but its soooo easy to get stuck in the snow with the 2002, i mean rear wheel drive just suks in the snow, screw the SUV's cause QUATTRO is the way to go.

The only advantage AWD has in snowy/icy conditions is accleration. Every form of drive has advantages and disadvantages.
I have personally have had my car(s) stuck in all sorts of "incidents" in snow and never had to rely on a tow...maybe a push here or there!
Well take the quattro out and lets see some drift pics Andre!

it took me yesterday 70 mins to get home and usually it's an 20-30 min drive.
and the worst part was that you could easily do 100km/h on the highway. when i was getting off on the 407 to the 410 south where no people are in the lanes it was just as any other day.
the best part was around my building i have a few stop signs. and i was turning right on one of them. so i turned the t/c off and had some fun. going sideways thru the streets and people looking at you is quite fun and there was a car coming my way and the guy was looking at me
winter is fun
