Acutally the formula is:
# litres used / km driven * 100
35/280 * 100 = 12.5L/100km.
Using your logic, you can see that 200km / 35L = 5.71L/100km......which is completely wrong, worst mileage doens't give you a better L/100km ratio.

yes please explain..
from what I gather you are telling me... when my needle is at max ZERO I still have 5L approx 70 more kms to use?
hmm not that I do not believe you but to attempt that extra 70kms at that level, adding in the cost of a new fuel pump... i'll stick with my almost empty level!

I use 5th from like 40km/h. lol. I do have a lot more torque too, but whatever.
I got 8.5L/100km out of the last tank of Shell 91. And that included MidnightCruise (a little hard driving at the end of the night).

Same, with the ///M cars (or ///M-Powered cars lol) if you just chill it is AMAZING on gas...the peterborough (sP?) cruise I pulled 670 with those times ripping it.
Fuel filter, proper working pump, and also good plugs make a big difference.
Btw, i only fill shell 91 in my 332is and it gives better milage than I got using 94 in my old 92 M50 NV.

Here are a couple pics of my tank/trip from last night. I filled up with Sunoco 94 in Brampton and drove to Bowmanville then to burlington. Mostly hwy but there was some city driving. I ripped it a few times but most of the way I stayed steady between 125-135. Used just over a 1/4 of a tank
