flue valvue? maybe? does anyone know what its for?

The other day I decided to take everything out of my trunk, insulate all the wires, clean out any moisutre around the battery/spare wheel compartment...

I went as far as removing the lining that's in the trunk and found, on the rights side (passanger side), behind the lining - around the CD changer area, a cable with a little gas pump emblem... but decided not to pull on it just in case. Wondering if anyone knows that it is... Is it some sort of a pressure-release vaulve?

It's a manual release cable for your gas door, incase of a malfunction with the actuator, or a dead battery.
