Thanks for the kind words guys.

I spoke with Mike's dad that evening. He is doing better than he was a year ago and has come to terms with what happened. But as expected he is still taking it pretty hard. I don't expect them to ever fully get over what happen because parents should never outlive their children.

Mike would have been 30 years old this year on December 24th. Myself and Mike's other good friend Andre also turned 30 this year. So on Dec 24th raise a glass to Mike and anyone else you have lost.

My condolences and best wishes to his family and friends. I'm also turning 30 this year and will think of Mike.

I'm a newbie here, and never knew Mike. I can't imagine the loss his family has suffered, and may he RIP. I'm certain his family can take some solace in knowing by allowing these pictures to be posted, they can hopefully prevent this from happening again. Anything / accidents can happen, but lets make sure we take the time to ensure our friends and loved ones are riding on adequate tires....especially with the winter coming.

Great thread.....and I really appreciate the message conveyed.
