Think this will be good?

Looking at getting a 1997 328is with 245000 Kms on it, needs only break pads and rotors to safety, brand new tires, dealership maintained, owned by the same owner for 12 years, no rust, very clean, looks mint, asking $2500. Opinions?

did you get it checked by reputable mechanic?

- other things that need to be checked and confirm:

water pump
cooling fan
oil in spark plug hole? if so, you will need to change the gaskets.

imo, the e36 m52 engine is very reliable and if maintenance correctly will last a very long time.

2500 sounds reasonable.

Haven't seen it in person yet. Plan on having it looked at by a mechanic of course. Anything I should look for at a first glance thats a warning sign of problems with these cars?
