I've never paid for detailing service I always do it myself. TOPS has been around for ever though and so has the place on Catherine across from the bus station. Check groupon as well.

I've looked, most places in ottawa now use the word "detail" to describe any old wash, yet still try and charge true detailing prices. So far I haven't found anyone that goes to the length I go, at least at a reasonable price.

I have used La Douche in Gatineau in the past. Good price for their car wash. (again, not really a detailing).

As for me, I do it myself. I try to do once in the spring, and once in the fall. Start with wash, clay bar, 3 stages of polish/scratch removal by machine, then sealer, and wax. Inside, I go leatherique to soften up the leather. Smother it on. Let it soak, then wipe down.

Yes, that eats up a a whole day, but the results are worth it.

I used Fari Detailing for years for all my BMWs and other non-BMW vehicles. Patrick is very professional, super meticulous and cares very much about his work.

Slick Automotive on Thurston Dr. is really good.
André (the owner) really knows his stuff and does a lot of high-end cars. He also has some of the best prices in town on tires and rims as well.
