How to remove Sun Screen Stain from Leatherette?

My wife and kids leave some Sun Screen stain on the seat and arm rest and it is now a white haze shown on the black leatherette, what to use to remove it? any protection I can put on as protection to avoid future mishap again?

Give warm water and a toothbrush a try. If that doesn't work run over to your nearest Loblaws or Canadian Tire and pick up the white Woolite. 10 parts distilled water and 1 part woolite. Spray, toothbrush, wipe and repeat if neccesary. Once you are done go over the area with a warm damp towel using regular water.
