1996 e36 vert heat blower not working

Hi I'm new to this site and I was wondering if I could get some help with my bmw. Me heater fan isn't working but everything works just no air coming out. What could be the issue I was told it's a relay maybe. If so where is that relay located inside the car or what should I try to start with. Thanks in advance

check the obvious first. fuse, then relay, then wire connection, and then the console switches. in that order.

You could have a bad blower motor. Turn the switch on high and go under the hood, remove the little grill on the vowel and tap the motor with something. Piece of wood or extension. If it starts working the fan is no good.
