Antifreeze/Coolant

I need to top up the coolant. Can I just walk into Canadian Tire and buy lets say Prestone or is there a coolant/antifreeze that would be better for a BMW?

BMW coolant would be better for a BMW. It's not that much more than Prestone.

Also isnt it that you shouldn't mix green coolant with blue??

Also while doign the FDM i read alot and alot of people on bfc say that BMW spent extensive time and resources on the collant.. So go with the bimmer one.. I actually got like a jug i think.. i can look around.. n will post if i find it!
