How much power? E46M3

Does anyone know how much a E46M3 makes at the wheels? I was reading Bimmer and they had one with a Gruppe intake and a exhaust and it only made 258hp at the wheels. Isn't this number a bit low?

well, gruppem and an exhaust would pretty much make zero difference on the car but make it sound cooler

258hp does sound very low, I would think more around the 280-295hp mark

both euro and us motor are the same. It makes 330 at the crank, I'm talking about at the wheels. I also thought it should make about 280hp or so too. Has anyone dyno their M3 on here?

That's about right.

15 to 17% power-train loss is common on most manual RWD vehicles.

NA spec E46 M3 makes 333bhp and the euro spec E46 M3 makes 343bhp, i think the general rule is 17% power loss so that would put it at around 276ish
