My diff blew up. New opportunity to ?upgrade? advice

Hey folks

My 330i 5 speed supercharged e46 recently had its diff blow up. It?s a good opportunity to upgrade and fix stuff.

I suppose with a boosted car it?s better to have a lower ratio diff. I?m not sure what the stock diff ratio is...but any ideas or recommendations? My boost is at 6 psi.

Thanks!

The stock diff can hold a lot of power, surprised it let go. I guess age catches up to everything.
Lower ratio would give a lot of nice down low torque, not sure what available for the E46, but will check around...

Mfactory seems to have the cheapest LSD. Next is Wavetrac. Then Torsen and OS Giken.
Diffs online is a popular source for BMW diffs.
