What part is this ? Need an answer asap!



Hey guys,

Yesterday I was cleaning out my air filter and after I put it back in, my car suddenly had idling problems. It would idle very low then slowly go down and shut off. I looked under the hood and found that there was a tube from the engine leading elsewhere that had fallen out, it also had a tear in it. I put it back in and the car runs fine, but I want to replace this part as soon as possible.

I've uploaded pictures, I couldn't really add any pointer as Im not at home, but if you look closely you'll see a tear

In the first picture its on the right side, second picture the left side. Let me know what it is! Or can I just wrap it up in some special tape?

Demanding for help ASAP but not even bother to say what car/motor you have, typical.

That said, I'd assume by the position and oil everywhere it has to do with the PCV system, and when it's off you have a large vac leak which is why it didn't idle correctly.
