FS: 1992 325i LS6/T56



I have come across a deal on a F10 M5 and I think its time to move on.

I will cleanup/update this thread later with more in depth detail but the coles notes are as follows. I have a more recent build thread here that shows the swap I did into this perticular 325. I also have the original from the 328i but it was not done properly, which is why I had to redo it.

'01 LS6 with maybe 5000k on it since it was rebuilt; oil changed twice per year. Not winter driven since the swap.
Thumpr Comp cam (Basically the same as 02+ Z06 but with overlap for some rumble)
Comp cam Pushrods (I think 7.400) but I can't confirm without pulling them out of the valvetrain; I have a box but they were swapped by Champion
New LS7 Lifters
340 RWHP/338 RWTQ; I've resolved a few issues since the last time it was dynoed but have not gotten around to another run.
Tuned by Champion Motors in Toronto
Aluminum Rad
Custom cold air intake

Exhaust is custom 3 inch to a maganflow 40 series muffler

T56 6 speed exact Mileage unknown; new clutch kit and throughout bearing were put in when it was installed. Does not slip, grind, etc.
Driveshaft is from the NAHR LS kit
Mounts and headers are all CXRacing Stainless with urethane bushings

I personally assembled the wiring harness and put in a lot of time to make it look as clean as possible while retaining the most functionality possible.

Body is a 325i and honestly not in the best shape. I was looking to move the setup into a E36 wagon but actually getting a seller in Germany to respond is proving impossible and clean examples are harder, and expensive, to find.

Body has something like 360k kms.

The Good:
Subframe reinforcements were welded in before I put in the swap
3:91 LSD is strong and makes no noise
I put in the sport seats from my 328i
New wheel bearing on driver side rear

The Bad:
Passenger fender should be replaced; rust hold at the top of the wheel arch
There are a few dings and scratches typical of a car this age
Car needs emergency brakes (Cables and pads)
Needs a new, or used, heater valve

Wheels: Will confirm actual sizes later
Simmons 3 Piece FR18 staggered with crappy tires
OZ Superleggeras, also staggered, Hankook V12 evos. Tons of tread left. I have a spare new rear tire as well.

Extras (car will come with all my E36 stockpile):
Complete set of E36 M3 brakes; to be installed
Eibach adjustable swaybars set
OEM Dot-R driver door
OEM DOT-R 95+ nose panel
OEM M3 Rear bumper painted Arctic Silver
OEM M3 twisties; need to be painted, currently partially stripped by the person I bought them from
Powerflex FCAB's
New OE Bilstein Front struts with FCP euro front rebuild kit for new bushings, pads etc.
Tein SS springs; rears are installed fronts were to be installed when the new struts went on
Willwood master cylinder kit; intended to install when I did the M brakes
318i AC compressor; Was to have been installed with adapters on the LS
Rear window difuser
ACS 3 piece rear spoiler; very rare!
ACS style front strut bar
AA front and rear strut bar
AA weighted shit knob and ebrake handle.
Aftermarket RSM with replaceable bushings from FCP Euro
Wiring harness from last Alpha version; good to have if you want connectors, spare wiring etc.
M3 pillars, visors, interior lights and headliner (Headliner needs fabric replacement)
Spare non-M headliner, no droop in fabric but needs a cleaning

The list keeps going.

Selling the car as is, where is, it will run and drive but has expired Ontario plates and is currently located in Moncton. To ship it back to the GTA would be somewhere around $700 to $1000.

The price, 10K. I could easily make more parting it out but I don't have the time. Save yourself a huge expense over DIY and take this RUNNING LS6 swap off my hands! Car is currently registered as a hot rod in Ontario and only needs to comply to 1980 emission standards.
