I think I know of a clean Hellrot for sale...

LSD was a standalone option, and I don't think it has one. Doesn't really stop me from drifting though, you just can't be a clutch-kicking faker.

Why? Because you can, and because you shouldn't.

Oh and it might help your wheel whore ness.
I think the last thing I need on the E30 is temptation to buy more wheels. I won't lie, the new 16x9 RS replicas on R3V had me thinking stupid for a second.

Congrats on the impulse buy! I've loved the ti ever since I saw some euro pics with stretch tires on deep dish 16's.

Mani, were you the one e-mailing the dealer asking about the OBDII code checking stuff too? If so, you're the reason I decided to just buy it on the spot.

The neighbours just heard me scream.

Car is at Bimmersport now, forgot to take pics today of the interior and stuff. But now I could care less and just want to drive the thing in the rain.

I was emailing them, then I was on the phone with them. They thought it was OBD1. I wanted them to check the code so I can actually see wtf is wrong with it.

By the way all M Sports come with LSD. Amazing little cars though, congrats on the purchase.

Do you mind if I ask you how much they settled for? If you don't want to make it public maybe you can PM me?

Okay yeah, that was definitely you then. The salesguy Eddie told me the guy calling in "is very knowledgeable about BMW's. He knew that if it was a 1996, then it must be OBD2 and we can scan it here!". I then told him that all cars in 1996 were OBD2, and he didn't believe me.

Is it just Canada that the LSD came with the M Sport package? Because I'm almost sure that in the US the Sport cars (which otherwise look the same) had it as a standalone option. The only model that had it standard was the 1995 Clubsport.

I paid a little less than the listed price.

Got to love the dealership sales people! They are the know-it-alls!

As far as I know all cars with M Sport package came with LSD. I might be mistaken though.
