Cheapest Insurance?

Hello everyone, I just need a little bit of insight, I'm just wondering what company you think has the best (lowest) rates for insurance but is still a legitimate company (no fake insurance -_-) I'll be insuring a car as the primary driver but the car will be in my brother's name. I just need liability, not full coverage. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am using TD Meloche Monnex. Can't seem to find anything cheaper. I have my house insurance under them too.

No such thing as the best cheapest insurance, you want to get affordable
insurance, as what you can "afford" to pay for each driver is different, where you live plays into the calculation of the rates.

Ontario insurance is expensive, rate has gone up every year.

Call a lot of insurance company, you might get lucky that one will offer you an affordable rate...

I am aware of the factors that go into determining the price of an individual's insurance, though I was just looking to get some advice from some of the MaX members, thanks.

TD Meloche group rates are the best I've found.

Best advice is to call and speak to live agent, internet quote is never accurate.. try RBC many have switch to RBC, their rate is rather good

Yeah, try TD Meloche Monnex. I've been with them for a few years now and on top of them being the best quote i got (half of what RBC asked haha), their service is excellent if you ever have an incident. I mean truly exemplary, in my experience.

Also make sure to ask them about group rates for anything you're affiliated with (University alumni of some sort, veteran, sobey's plus card member, whatever )

I'm with TDMM also, but I haven't shopped around recently. About 5 years ago, they were offering me the best rates.

Everyone's details will be different so what is true for one person, may not be true for others, so you kinda have to do your own research.

That's strange my brother asked his insurance broker if he could have me as the secondary driver on the car in question but they told him no because he already has 2 cars with someone as the secondary on them?
