M52tu28 for sale

Hey guys,

It's out of my neighbor's 99 528i. Can't remember how many kms it had but it was around 240ish maybe more.

My Neighbour scrapped his car because he couldn't figure out where his coolant leak was coming from and did not want to put any funds into a car he no longer needed. Turns out the motor was leaking from one of the coolant lines under the intake manifold. Motor ran but my intentions were to rebuild it. Unfortunately it was a spur of the moment purchase for me and Because I didn't do the correct research I bought the incorrect m52 that I was looking for.

I have the motor harness as well, but my Neighbor cut the harness in one section near the intake,
Sorry lol. I believe I have most of the accessories for the motor as well.

Quick sale for the whole thing would be 500 Obo, or if you need some parts let me know and we can work something out. Don't want this thing laying around in my shop anymore. If no bites for this then I will simply just scrap it by the end of the month. I'd rather see it in a car again so send your offers! Low ballers welcomed lol

Thanks
Alan

If you do scrap it, make sure to keep the crank. It's good for an M20 stroker

Thanks for the tip, I didn't know it was the same crank. Another part to add to my hoarding. Lol

It's not the same as the pre-TU crank, but it will still work.
