My car was found

Hey guys my '89 Camry beater has been found! I posted it stolen here And where else would it be but in the lower ghettos of Scarbro.

Really looks like some kids took it for a joy ride and didn't damage much of anything. Insurance is covering minor damages with no deductable with rental. 41 Division police recovered it and dusted for fingerprints right away.

Apparently metro police has an automated license plate scanning system (MPLR?) installed on one of their cars that scans plates while the cruiser is moving.

wow

i know these two kids in grade 9, they boost cars for joy rides. recently, he was caught in it smoking herb and possesion of 37grams of MariJane.

he's alraedy had a Grand Theif Auto whatever.

he was in Juvenile and he can't be in a car unless he's with his parents.

wow, kids like that are retarded. We all know that when you steal a car, you either drive it right away to your local chop shop and make a quick grand or more, or drive it to the shipping yard to be sent overseas.
What are these kids doing just hangin' out in stolen property?

i was watching global news after the superbowl like 2 weeks ago and they said some junkyard had over 150 stolen cars across Canada,

I haven't heard from that since.

Did the new cop car actually find YOUR car? or was it found abondened on the side of a road or something

I'm not sure if they were using the new scanner system to find my car or not but I'm sure they are testing/using it here in Scarborough becuase of the number of stolen cars called in and the many many filled parking lots. I have called in 2 cars parked infront of my house. On the same day that the police called, one of the stolen cars parked in front of my house was tagged/towed. I think its great the car theft unit is doing a big crackdown now with such cool technology. *thumbs up*

BTW, There is still one white pontiac outside if anyone is missing a beater from Quebec.

Update: My insurance company just called. Looks like they're sending over a rep for an interview on Monday to take some statments. Is this a new policy routine? Anyway, some lady saw 3 indian guys get out of my car last week and called in the cops after my car was still parked near her place in midtown scarborough near ellesmere and they went to check it out. Sorry but I guess that new cruiser wasn't in the area

. Hope they catch those punks.
