Alarm/Remote Entry Problems

Left my lights on yesterday and completely drained my battery. Luckily I had a friend with CAA. The guy came hooked up my car with a charger and another battery then started the car! Anyhow since then 2 things went.

One is the trunk bulb (the one that lights up the trunk) - which is not that big a deal. the second thing that went is my alarm. it seems to think a door or something is open so it beeps three times. but all the doors and the trunk is completely closed. Any ideas?

did you replace the bulb in the trunk?. Some alarms run off a power drain or unclosed circuts. ( if your interior or trunk light comes on or the bulb is out)it will set off the alarm or not let it arm.

Thanks for the response. I pulled out the bulb and guess what it worked! but here is the issue the bulb is fine (i tested with a new one). But the bulb is out ... and my Stock CD changer in the trunk does not work either ... my guess is there is a fuse gone or more probably a short.

Any ideas anyone?

Okay I found out a little more everything is on the same circuit hence the CD player is not working. I'm going to check my fuses and we will see where that gets me.
