LOL Hey Mod, you need to change the title of this thread to "Which shop to take your BMW to IN THE TORONTO AREA"
I just read through all 18 preceeding pages and with the exception of a couple Calgary body shop reccomendations every single shop is within a couple hundred km of Toronto downtown... (with 2 shops that seem to have VERY loyal customers... Next time I'm in TO with my car I'll consider them both a must see destination!)
I'm thinking there MUST be decent shops elsewhere in the country ;-)
I saw requests (unanswered) for shops in Vancouver and in Ottawa...
I have some experience with only one specialist BMW shop in Ottawa, Duss Brothers. Rudy knows BMWs inside out and backwards. He is good, albeit a bit expensive ...and a word of caution... do NOT mention performance modifications or parts! He's a hard core pureist and will lecture you severely... might even grab a ruler and rap you on the knuckles. Since they've been around a long time and have a very loyal following the shop is very busy and you'll need to make an appointment well in advance.
(center of the universe syndrome rears it's head again, but I'll speak up for those of us from outside the Big Smoke) :-D

ACP Auto Clinic & Performance.
Alex is a good guy, pays really close attention to detail, and years of experience.
Anyone in the Windsor area... He's the only guy as far as I'm concerned.
Cheers.

^^ I would have to agree with emdog16.
I went to ACP this past weekend and was very impressed with the quality of service done done on my E30. I live in the GTA but will definitely be traveling back to Windsor for more work on my car.
Thanks, Alex!

+1 - Rmp is the best shop in the GTA you will not find another shop as honest and professional as Rocco's nor can anyone beat his prices or quality of work. If you don't want the hassle of trial and error or your sick of taking your car back to the same shop for the same problem then just go see Rocco at Rmp, he'll take care of you and get the job done right the first time.

I am not doubting that Bimmersport/RMP and the few BMW specialist shop are good in their field and servicing their customers well but I have to give a shout out to Jay and Mike at Stance...their customer service is the best (to me) and I have used a few of those that you guys mentioned in here...
Jay replies to your email promptly and always listen and offering suggestions and Mike will let you know what he is doing as he goes along repairing your car...and I drive quite a distance to get both my car fixed at Stance...
Will see them soon once the car is out of hibernation...
