Not my pics, but very similar to what I had in 2004 (same color), scrapped it in 2006 (hit a tree). I also had the cloth interior, and SRS-less steering wheel all sourced from an importer locally here.
I started witha 1988 325i when I was 18 years old. Ripped out the entire back end and redid the wheel bearings.
Then that winter, i drove into a curb that i never saw as i was pulling into the plaza to get some chicken wings! lol...my control arm turned into a chicken wing, and the bottle cap rim became a bottle cap opened.
then i bought my 1990 325i with plastic bumpers and a magnaflow muffler (that i still use!!). I bought it within a month of killing the 1988. I have had this car since and done everything i could!
I lowered the car and got big juicy rims. put a small steering wheel on, and a sound system. BROOO as well for jokes on the rear window.
the engine got an M50 swap, then i cracked the oil pan, fixed it and continued to drive and eventually the cylinder head cracked in 8 spots! Sooo a new excuse to do work
Out with the M50, and in goes an OBD1 converted M52. You would think its an M50 the way I dressed it! So much faster, quicker, and sounds so rawww, just the way i like it. I also put in bilstein sport shocks to properly handle the engine weight. overall, its been love!
started 1988 325i @ 18 yrs old, turning 25 this may still with my 1990 lol...
