Buying 2006+ BMW E90/92 328i NEED ADVICE PLEASE

Hi all,

I have never purchased a used car before and, from what I have read thus far, it appears that dirty things can occur if not properly informed. Any information on what dealers to contact/avoid, what to look for when purchasing a BMW, how to approach an appealing advertisement, etc. would be much appreciated.

Location: Kitchener, ON, Canada (but willing to drive 500km radius)

Budget: $18,000 to $21,000

2006 BMW (or newer)
preferably 328i (or higher)
under 100,000 km
manual transmission
accident free with CarProof verifiable records

Ever consider a e46 M3? E46 and E90 have identical interiors and IMO the body style is way nicer on an e46. Also way less problem then e90s.... but just offering a suggestion.

Avoid Kijiji/autotrader junk. shop around on the forums here because most people can also vouche for how clean and well maintained the cars are. if you see someone selling a car on here who has been on the forums for a long time (250+ posts) and has multiple people saying just how nice there car is because they have seen it in person etc, then you know what you are getting into. But be patient, good deals come up often on here, amazing offers come up every now and then too.

Good luck,

I guess, it does not have to be difficult getting an excellent deal on a car. In fact, it could be fairly simple. All you need to do is go to a site that I came across. The site keeps track of all special programs and offers going on at this time to make sure you get the best deal possible. At Miller Dodge Chrysler Jeep you will get the best quality vehicle purchasing experience possible. So stop by Springfield PA Dodge Chrysler Jeep right now. Look at this dealership here.

Goodluck in finding the right car - I suggest going with a late model E46, 330 or M3 as someone else suggested. You'll be happy you did as they typically have less problems then the E90 models. I have also heard the 328i E90 is sluggish, but have not personally driven one.

Regardless of what model you choose, make sure to have a full inspection by a reputable shop before making a deposit/buying. If you can find something on here, that would be best as it will most likely be owned by an enthusiast who cares enough to do preventative maintenance.
