electrical diagram symbol question

On most of the connectors each wire has an arrow pointing to the right and a rectangle.

Normally I would think the rectangle was a resistor and the arrow pointed to +12 but it doesn't really make sense?

It's definitely a resistor. The arrow is probably a signal going somewhere else.... or a fail at drawing in an LED lol

Looks like a resistor but it could also be a fuse...that said, based on the following I'd say it's the former:

It's 1000% a resister. Taking Basic Electrical for my Computer Engineering @ Seneca College. This is a basic drawing of a resister and you put the Ohm number inside (ex. 4.7k Ohms which is the most common resister on earth).
