hows driving this thing in the winter for you guys?

Winter tires! Like everyone else has said. Makes a huge differance.

I didn't change my tires in time this year, so after that first snow fall I attemped to drive the E36 to work.. my driveway is uphill about 100 feet.

with the brand new all seasons I made it about.. 5 feet before getting stuck... I rocked it a few times and maybe made it to six feet.

"Screw this!"

I backed the car in to the garage, poped on the winter tires and drove straight up and out of the driveway NO problem.

I didn't even spin a tire.

Winter tires are a must IMO.

very true! i picked up my E36 in december and firdt thing i did was buy winter tires for it. the car is so controlling and so much fun! i am sideways every where. it was a great purchase for a dd/track build

Ultimate driving machine in every weather condition, in winter of course with winter tires.

I drive my 1997 Bmw m3 in Ottawa , like everyone said get some good winter tires and you should be ok.
