Update:
Brand new Continental ContiWinter Contact TS830P tires installed 225/40/18 (Tire rated #1 last year http://www.tyrepress.com/News/1/127/23620.html )
(Very expensive tire, still about $270-300/tire)
4 Wheel alignment done.
Car runs straight as an arrow and smooth at any speed.

Update2:
Spent another $450
Replaced Passenger side Control Arm ball joints (both inner and outer - Lemforder)
Replaced both Control Arm bushings (Lemforder)

Also replaced muffler hanger with a new OEM bracket and bushing.

Hmm, very interesting trade offer I must admit. I'm not a huge fan of the touring, but I always loved e30's and never had one, and yours looks clean, so I could be interested depending on the terms
