I've always noticed a little drip here n there with the engine oil.. It got pretty bad last month when the car was sitting. At first i thought it might be the timing chain cover. Further research and looking closer it looked like the leak was from the oil filter canister.
I picked up the "o" ring and gasket needed and started this morning.. Took about 2 hrs.. Had to remove the alternator to get to the bolts for the canister.. Here are some pics.
This was the old "0" ring...
Changed the oil and filter and went for a drive. Parked the car waited a few hrs and didnt notice anything... Ill know for sure in a few days...
dude! why didn't you powerwash the engine? yaknow, since you're in there. :-)

I dont have one.
I didnt have the time to clean the rest of the motor.
I cleaned most of the caked on oil n dirts around the area. When i have time and weather permiting ill clean it properly
On another note.. I noticed a small coolant leak too. You can see on one of the pics posted where at least one of the coolent leaks are.
either that plastic housing is cracked or the clamp needs some tightening.

I think it might be cracked.. When i took a better look at it i can see the clamp was tight as the hose was swelled around the clamp. But then again.. I didnt check if it needed to be tightened.
or the hose might be splitting. would require further inspection. you don't want to blow a hose and overheat.
