eBay is full of replica depos
If I'm gonna get a replica,I'd want the depos, not some other brand riding off the depo name

I bought a set of DJ Auto's from DDM about a year and a bit ago. Probably the best decision I've made for my e36. The glass on them is thick and strong while the housings are extremely sturdy. I've had zero problems with them since I put them in. I have 6000k in the headlights and 8000k in the fogs. I see perfectly fine at night. Plus the lenses don't have all that garbage writing on them that Depo's do.

I've been looking at ebay and other forums for the better half of a month for a good deal on these lights zkw/depo/djauto..
The best deal I found so far for brand new lights.. especially with shipping, unlike the other sellers who charge alot more to Canada. I"m probably gonna get them shipped to cbi with a m3 bumper.

I've installed Depo's on two E36's now. I like 'em. WAY better than OEM US spec.

Check out http://www.khoalty.com/bmw-e36/lights.html as a alternative to DDM. Slightly high priced, but they gave me a good price with Duties/Taxes In.
DDM can be a pain to deal with and had long ship times back in the day, not sure how things have changed lately.

do the bulbs say what they are on them? My car came with ZKW's with HID's, I've never opened them up except to change a glass lens once.
I want to know what strength bulb I have as I love the look and would want the exact ones if they were ever to burn out.

Well, I'm looking to buy two sets (one for my car one for my brother's coupe), if anyone is interested we can look into setting up a group buy to at least save on shipping, maybe get a better deal too. I would be looking for depo/dj auto with 4300k HID's in both, and a set of smoked corners + sidemarkers for both a 96 sedan and 98 coupe.

Well I can officially say that depo headlights for the E36 are the worst thing I have ever experienced. Both lights broke while trying to clop in the DEPO corner lights and after closer inspection I see now that it's the actual molding pushing out against the corner light that cause the crappy and very brittle plastic to break.
Trying to work something out with the ebay seller but I'm not going to hold my breath. I will probably just have to pony up cash for another set of lights that most certainly won't be DEPO brand

OT: Notorious, when did you get an e36? My handle on AZ is qwks4. I had a Nogaro B5 and now have a b7. Great daily driver, but my e36 is my hobby. Welcome to the club!
