I find that all exhaust videos sound the same unless you're using some really good microphones to pick up all the frequencies. This was shot on my iphone so it distorts a lot of the note. You need to hear this in person.
What an incredible topic! I enjoyed every moment of going through it and thank you for posting. This inspired me to add a few more projects to the list for my E36. Upload some more videos when ever you get the chance to do so.
its the next upgrade. I'm just waiting for the vendor to fine tune their new design.
Ok so I bought an e36m3 because of this thread :-) Thank you.
This is my first post so hopefully this shows you how important your work is to me, thanks Steve. Im going to go with either the S54 or the true European Evo M3 Engine.
s54 seems stronger and faster but the rarity of the s52b32 Euro and its engine sound makes for a tough choice. Looking forward to your updates

Congrats, looks like a good base to start with. Seems like it already has AST coils and estoril is a great color.
I wanna run this thing head to head to compare how much faster it is
I'm down lol. I haven't really ran anything head to head just a cayman r and the new genesis coupe before I put it away. I'm more eager to see what this thing can do on the circuit.

I've been very busy lol. The M52 was taken apart and machined back in November. I just need to o-ring and put the internals in. I doubt I'll have it on the road this summer though, it would just be too unrealistic for the goal I have set.
Steve does the S54 bolt right up to the e36 m3 tranny? Because I think it should what really makes me think is the whole clutch flywheel combo because I want to go light weight but I wouldn't even know where to begin as far as searching for a combo that would fit between the S54 and E36m3 trans.
