He was on r-comps which are allowed for stock category cars. Which brings me to another point, John was running R888s on his E30 at the last event but he's classed as STX. Street touring is the only category that does not allow r-comp tires so for the last event John's car would fall under Street Prepared (SSP) with a PAX of 0.865

Thanks for throwing me under the bus Steve. But my class is all wrong as it is, I should not be in any "S" class. More like DSP......My car is as close to stock as stock can be.

You are right with regards to your car being in DSP, I just said SSP because if your car was in the S class, street prepared or street modified would be the only classes where r-comps and a steering rack swap would be allowed.
With regards to being thrown under the bus, DSP is PAXed harder than STX (0.851 fot DSP vs 0.822 for STX)... so I think you just threw yourself under the bus lol
I'm just bitter because I can only race for fun now, my car is the heaviest PAXed (street legal) car at the events

Don't forget about John's lowering springs. Not just R-comps & steering rack.

Yeah, I think it's pretty lame that adding lowering springs alone moves you from stock to street touring.
But John's rack swap would put his car into DSP where he can pretty much do anything to his car except for boost it or stroke it.... he could convert it from MacPherson strut to double A-arm if he wanted to lol!

Sorry maybe I missed it, or can't find it. Just checked the site to pre-pay and couldn't find it.
How do we sign up for Aug.26th Autoslalom and lapping at DDT?
Is it done online or on-site?
Edit: Randy Confirmed, it will be done on-site.

For you guys with GoPros, you can get all accessories 20% off at Best Buy or an extra 10% off difference price match at Futureshop. I picked up a wifi backpack and Ride Hero bar mount set.

I've given up on GoPro... really don't like the camera and my mount broke (plastic fatigue?). I don't plan on buying another Hero product. Ordered myself the new WIFI HD JVC Adixxion action cam. Android & Apple app compatible (allows you to stream-view, zoom, start/stop all from your mobile device). In addition to great build quality and compact size, it also records in HD 60fs for smoother high speed car action, all for $350 at JRP.

Looks pretty good, especially since it includes wifi+lcd. Looking forward to seeing your footage.

August 26th (unofficial) results. You can filter the list, but not edit. Note that the "Master" List isn't accurate, but the results for the 26th are.
