I'll be at the September school, probably volunteering for the weekend again, as this track season has been a wash with the arrival of they little one and look forward to seeing the car, but also think you'd have a blast autox'ing it at bimmercruise, just think of a 1.5 to 2 minute rush like the one you had on the drag strip with corners!
Either way looking forward to seeing the car next weekend
hey steve how did u mount your go pro in the video you posted? suction cup? i dont trust mine and i dont want to use one of the adhesive mounts ( i want to go pro the cruise up to mosport this sunday ) btw you've got to take me for a spin sometime i dont know what experience ill enjoy more, sitting on your uber awesome seats, or your s54 paired with the 3.91 god damn i like your car tooooo much....
I'm using the motorsport go pro suction mount. They are pretty strong as you can see in the video posted by Doogee they can withstand the impact of a rock LOL! The main thing is to make sure that the area its sticking to is clean. I've used it a couple times mounted on the exterior and even while it was raining it held at highway speeds. I'll be at Mosport this weekend

Well its been a while since my last update. One of my rear subframe bushings let go and made a nasty knocking noise. I also had a pretty badly bent front diff bolt. I managed to get my car on a hoist at my friends shop and boy am I glad I didn't decide to tackle this one at home on jack stands. I put the AKG 95A poly ones in along with oe diff bushings. I have new rtabs as well but didn't have the time or energy to install those so I'll try and put them in some time next week. This is all to get the car ready for the BMW advanced driving school which is taking place on Sept. 8 & 9. I can't wait to get the car on the Mosport GP track! The car feels amazing with the new bushings in the rear end. No more drive train slop! I recommend the AKG poly 95A stuff because there really isn't any increase in NVH the car just feels a lot more planted to the ground. I'll post a pic of the diff bolt later..
Everything in the rear was fine until I visited the drag strip (very bad idea lol, shoulda listened to Mike!) That just finished it off. Also I've been dreading this job for a while. At least it's done now.
Mike and I stopped by my friends shop today to see what our cars make. Here is a comparison between my S52 and the S54. I am very pleased but there are some more plans for the car over the winter.
Full custom exhaust. Dual 2.5". My friend did an amazing job and it sounds freakin amazing. The pictures don't do it any justice but I wanted to post them for now. I'll have some high quality pics along with a sound clip later this week. Also going to see if I can hit up the dyno one last time and see what the gains are. The torque gains down low are massive though thanks to the x-pipe.
