Thanks, most of the credit goes to stance factory though. I'm having an issue with the euro cluster I bought. The coolant temp gauge its all out of wack so I have to use my original cluster. Can anyone help me out with sourcing a working euro one?? I don't think the guy I bought this off of is going to help me at all.. I should've refused the damn package when it arrived broken.
Are you sure there isn't a wiring or even coding difference between the euro cluster and the NA versions?
As far as I know all you have to do is run the oil temp wire and pin it to the harness. I'm fairly certain this is just a plug and play piece. One of my Dad's friends took a look at the circuit board and he did find a fused connection so that is likely the issue.
SiR, the car runs great. I have zero complaints, well except for the fact that I can't redline it yet lol. Just under 400k to go. I took my friend for a ride last night and he said the car doesn't even feel like it has a swap. We're used to civics with GSR's and K's in them that rattle like crazy and make all sorts of noises

My S52 did amazing on gas. I could regularly get 700-800 on a tank. The S54 definitely drinks more but not by much. The best I've done is 500 mixed highway/city. I know if you really try the S54 can get close to 800. I'll do a valve adjustment and spark plugs which should help out quite a bit.

Id open that thing up already sounds like a nicely done swap. reliability is key.
Its not loud at all, a little deeper than the S52. I'm using the factory E36 M3 exhaust and E46 M3 section 1. There is a little bit of rasp but I like it. I'll try and make a good video this weekend to give you an idea.
please make some video's, and take off the stickers in the engine bay, the s54 looks so purrttyy in there and they just ruin the look IMO, either way awesome car and you are now the envy of many e36 owners...
Way ahead of you. I took them out a few weeks ago. The engine bay looks a lot cleaner now. A short video I shot with my phone.
