Help!! Trying to put a 540i afm on a s52.

I know this probably isn't the right the right section, but I'll try anyway.

I have a 2000 z3m roadster, I wanna install the bigger 540i afm. Is it plug and play? Do i have to modify the housing of the 540i afm and swap in my current sensor?

The car has a dinan stage 2 tune, will the be enough to run the bigger afm? It also has a short ram intake and I am about to install an m50 manifold.

Thanks, Phil.

It is not plug and play.

It requires software tuning to be able to use the 540 maf.
I wouldn't bother upgrading to a 3.5'' maf until you have cams, or more mods.

Euro S50s come with a 3.5'' maf, so do s54s I believe. Both N/A 6cyl.

But no need for one on an lightly modded s52 or US s50.

Really? WTF..

Man my 82mm MAF housing and sensor on my Audi was good for over 440awhp... and that's with the lower reading Hitachi sensor and not the Bosch like you guys use.
