1992 BMW 325IS Radio Code.

I recently went to BMW to get the radio code ( Factory Alpine). The code that was given to me from the dealer is as follows 11261.

When I try to enter this code nothing happens , only a beep when I enter the 5th number of the code. I did ensure with the dealer that in fact this was the right code. Is there some trick that I am missing or a button(s) I am not pressing.

If you have any experience with this please help me out.

Pull out the deck and get the serial number off of it. The dealership can cross reference that. It may be an original deck from another car.
There is no trick. Once the code is entered, the radio should come to life..
