can you buff out glass headlights

can you buff out glass headlights?

or use those 3m headlight cleaning kit from canadian tire on them?

or do those ones only work on plastic headlights?

Glass lenses are nearly impossible to polish on your own.

The kits you buy are only for plastic.

This is the only kit I've seen for glass:

But I bet it won't work very well since you'd have to actually sand the lights quite a bit to remove all the pitting from stones.

you can buff glass lights but your not really going to notice anything. if your trying to get rid of pitting then its not going to happen

lol damn thank u guys for quick replies.. ya only 1 of my headlight has 3m film on it and that one looks pretty good..

and i had to get new passenger light when my car got into the fender bender ..and that one didnt have any film on it lol..

i think im better off buying a replacement lens from umnitza .
