to each their own. My lights look exactly like e39 lights, and at night you'd think a e39 is coming at you. They are still 100% ellipsoid units, with a sealed projector, but without double glass.

IDK, don't look like rice to me ( the lights, no comments on the bumper please, that is rice and i love it)

If you get the sealed chinese one peice lights with corners built in and angel eyes, then yes, ugly.

yeah there were a lot of helpful posts, i took my headlights out to fix the cut off line . gunna go to home depot and buy a piece of thin aluminium strip.

angel eyes are kinda ricey i guess because E36s never came with them, but imo, amber lights on my purple car doesnt look good at all... plus bmw makes clear corners... lol so imo , if they sell it at the dealer, it aint rice. lol

clears corners are fine depending on colour of car and style of the clear.

though being sold at the dealership does not mean its not rice. not even close. have you seen some of the crap they sell? ugh

glass headlights are not rice...hid kit tossed in them without the proper modifications is.
