s52 low oil pressure

well i just had my s52 rebuilt with new pistons/ bearings complete new head, and i get low oil pressure about 5-7 psi at Hot idle after the oil temp rises to operating temp. I am really stumped and not sure what to do other than pulling it out again and checking all the clearances, but all the bearings are new so not sure iam using 10w40 oil started with 5w30

well these motors are known to have low oil pressure at idle but did you check the pickup for cracks in the neck?

Where does it start when cold? Does the pressure hit 60 psi at higher revs (6000rpm)? If so, I would not worry about it. If not, you have issues ...
