Help w/ clutch noise?

Hey guys, haven't posted in awhile but I've got an issue I was hoping somebody could help out with.

A few weeks ago my clutch started making a whining noise when depressed; now, it's making that noise all the time, and it gets much louder when the clutch is depressed. The clutch still grabs just fine and it hasn't done anything funny besides make that noise, but I've taken it off the road for the winter anyways.

I'm pretty sure it's the throw-out bearing that's going but just wanted to check and see if anyone else has had this issue (I'm new to both manual trannies and bmw's, i've had my 325 for about 2 years now).

Any thoughts?
