M6 Shift Surround Carbon Wrap Project

Hey;



I was contacted by an acquaintance who owns one of the most beautiful black M6s with a small issue..... he had spilled something (later determined to be cola) that had eaten the brushed aluminum surface of his shift surround to the extent that it had caused ripples....



He already had factory CF trim and inquired if I could repair the damaged surround and wrap to match his factory pieces....



Figured the cost to replace the part if I screwed up was about $250; if I suceeded = major REP points!!!

He was VERY pleased with results.... as am I
