Looking for local BMW parts store
Does anyone know of a local shop that sells bmw parts at a reasonable price in the GTA (west end preferred)?
Looking to get some rear rotors and pads to do the work myself.
Thanks

true enough... I called a few up. They said they get their stuff from a local parts shop. So for this time I did get the parts I need but for future reference does anyone have information on a dedicated parts store that has good prices vs going through a mechanic?
Thanks

Did u see the sponser that's also a dealership, and see there prices, and they are in the west end.
Also try www.autopartsway.com
shipping is usually free if order is over $80 and usually next day

Ya autopartsway was recommended to my actually by one of the sponsors when I called
The dealership pricing (even the one sponsoring the board) was not priced competitively from what I have seen shopping around.
Anyways I have found what I was looking for so mods can close this if they don't find it useful to others. Thanks

If the places that are sponsors here were not priced competitively, they would not still be in business.
How do you know the prices are not competitive when you are asking where to buy parts for less?
Maybe you need to register yourself as a garage and buy parts directly from a jobber.

Mark D thanks for your opinion, but are you trying to tell me that a dealer's part center is pricing its parts competitively? Go in and compare there prices to any other parts shop and then chime in...
Get off your high horse. A dealer has the ability to charge those prices despite not being competitive...

I found a MUCH better deal somewhere else for (brembo rotors / PBR pads). In fact I saved over $100 off the sale prices listed in this forum http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133624...
But thanks for your 0.02.
For those that actually suggested a few places thank you.

I use and found the same thing, Brembo rotors and PBR pads ceramics, were significantly cheaper and better performing than oem.
Try Altrom, Collins, Warden Automotive, etc.....
