HID Color Suggestion

Hey Guys, i have a 99 323is and i am planning to install a HID kit on my fogs and replace the low beam bulbs as well. i am having a hard time deciding on what color combinations to go (eg. 8000k fogs and 8000k low beams and ...). what combination would look good and give me a decent light output so i can easily see at nights (especially in highway 401)?

I have depo style head lights with ccfl angel eyes I got 6000k low beams to match the angel eyes then I put 8000 in the fogs

My favourite colour combo is 8000K fogs (for looks), and 4300K lowbeams (for light)

my cars color is silver

4300k FTW...best light output and look natural not all bluish on the road.

I would suggest being different and put only HID in the lowbeams and then plasma ion yellow for the fogs. But that's just my opinion.

^^not to disagree, but yellow fogs are quite popular now. I sell 10-15 3000K kits a month, and most of those are in fog fitment. (up from a year ago when i sold 1-2 a month)

Yellow fogs are good. 8000k is a tad blue. 6000k is good for low beams, giving you a slightly more distinctive look than OEM, yet not reduce light output significantly. I'm doing 6000k/3000k.
