Help with car noise

Took the M3 out for a drive today and everything was running beautiful. I came home parked it for about 2-3 hours and then started it up and heard a weird noise, similar to a bad release bearing but it didn't go away when i pressed or depressed the clutch.. I got the clutch replaced @ bmw in july and the car has been fine ever since, just some mild tranny chatter but BMW said it was normal. When i accelerate the noise goes from a clunking/jingle noise to a winding so i am assuming it's some type of bearing? i'm very sure that it's coming from the tranny. any help would be great.. should i take it back to bmw and have it checked under warranty?

Yeah take it to BMW, as long as they aren't going to charge you for checking it out haha.

they better not... after they did the clutch job i went and picked the car up. i noticed that there was tranny chatter which was not there before the release bearing went out(i decided to do the whole clutch since the job is basically labor). I took it back the next day and the tech took it for a drive with me in it and we listened to the chatter and they said it was normal for m cars.

also forgot to mention the car drives normal, no loss of power or anything

so i took the car to bmw toronto today and the noise was there on the whole ride down. i entered the service area and shut the car off, waited for a tech to come do a road test with me. about 10 mins later he started the car up and the noise was gone.. what the hell could be causing this?
