Which shop to take your BMW to?

Since this question has been asked multiple times, I'm going to post a thread to be stuck.

Note: This thread is to made for RECOMMENDATIONS ONLY! There is to be no shop bashing. Users disobeying will be banned.

Feel free to recommend any shop.

No, it is purely meant for good recommendations, since we had some bad experiences with previous threads.

EVERYONE knows how picky I am with my car! A Little overboard most say! That being said... The only place that is allowed to touch my car is RMP Motors cuz they actually fix your car cuz they know what they are talking about, and they know what they are doing... plus they are careful. You won't get your car back until it is 100%!!!

RMP Motors fixes things PROPERLY the first time, unlike some other shops I have been to, and RMP is not expensive either. Plus they are quick, but don't get me wrong they don't rush things!

RMP Motors for teh win!

Im gonna have to say RMP all the way, I have had some "mistakes" from other shops fixed at RMP + I have had alot of regular maintenance done, Ive had everything from Plugs to bodywork done at RMP and I havent had one point to complain about, Service is GREAT, work is done Clean and Quick, minimal wait time to get in, Very Professional shop and its a CLEAN shop..
anyways I could talk about all the good points of RMP for about 15 more pages but ill just stop now and say

RMP FTW !!!!
Its Worth the drive to Bolton

I'm not gonna post anything about any other shop than RMP. Its the only place my car has ever been, and the only place my car will ever go.
-Rocco's prices are great
-He is not only a certified BMW technician, he worked for BMW as a tech for almost as many years as i've been alive
-I've never had a problem with his work,
-He, although being very busy with other work, always has time (and patience) to answer questions that i have, (often more than once, since i really dont know much about cars)
-He often stays later than the shop is open to finish a job if necessary.

-what i love most about RMP, is that both mark and rocco treat EVERY car like a showcar. It doesn't matter if you bring in a brand new m5, or a beater, he'll do the job right, the first time, with no problems or surprises. The shop is clean, the tools are in order. Rocco must have jacked up thousands of e36's in his life, yet when putting my car on the hoist he'll check everything twice, then check it again. Closing your hood, he'll check for loose tools, and verify everything is in order twice, then check again.

Some of the work i had done at RMP includes
-new clutch, CDV delete. (on that visit, rocco checked the torquing of my bearings, noticed one was VERY loose, and tightened it for me. He also topped off my tranny fluid, and final drive fluid. He recommended i start looking for some brake pads, as mine were getting worn. He scanned my car, read the fault codes for the CEL and the SRS light. I'm sure there was more, but i dont remember it. And the most fantastic part was, he checked over my car without me having to ask. He understands i'm not a mechanic, and when i come in with a problem, i'm not implying that that's the only problem on the car.)

Since then, i've also had rocco swap a starter for me, and install my euro headlights, and angel eyes.

I'm one happy and loyal RMP customer, and think everyone would be if they'd give rocco and mark a try.

Keep up the good work*th-up*

There are two shops that I'd recommend u to go:

1. RMP Motors in Bolton, www.rmpmotors.com, talk to Rocco, an excellent mechanic. He'll hook u up as soon as u enter the shop. Just name what need to be done and it's gonna be done in no time. Props to Rocco and Mark @ RMP Motors. Trust me, it's worth the drive to Bolton! This is where the magic happens...

2. Cross Avenue Auto in Oakville. Great guys, the lineup is too long there, so it's really hard if u need somethin done quick. Talk to Sam Nessan. He knows what he's doin too. And most importantly, they FIXED the problem i've posted here not too long ago w/ my car but I guess the mod deleted the thread. *thmbsdwn* And I heard someone else got involved in the Exact same problem after Ive posted.

After all, you guys should EXPERIENCE the shops yourselves instead of judging directly through these recommendations.
