Should I sell? How much?
Thinking of parting with the E36...
Aftercooled/supercharged 12lbs boosted black e36 m3. Custom AA tuned. (Tune, Pulleys, injectors, 803 MAF, plugs etc. new this summer) UUC short shift with DSSR, UUC e34 m5 clutch l/w flywheel kit Schrick intake TMS underdrive pulleys Dinan cat back exhaust Bilstein sport shocks & lowered H&R springs. Avante garde staggered 121's on 18's Falcon 452 Zionsville SS rad with Stewart water pump Urethane tranny mount bushings and RTAB's HID headlights and fogs Slotted(r) and X drilled rotors(f), Hawk pads, SS lines - new this year ...and more.. There's lots to list, car runs great...and quickly... Getting it into Bimmersport for a complete overhaul and tweaked dyno run. May sell now, but more likely in the spring, depending on offers. I'm just tired of constantly working on it! The bills add up.. So what do you think? |
Well don't try to sell it for a profit (you were saying about bills lol) -- buut that kinda work into it they always sell...
I think we need pix! |
I'll take some pics today and post them up...
Profit! Ha ha ha...!!! Since it used to be a full custom Dinan kit and then aftercooled with a custom AA tune...it has absorbed a bit of money from my wallet! |
Pointless fs thread!

Place all the images you want to post in one folder.
Below the message body is a button to "Manage Attachements" Another window opens and go ahead and look for that folder and begin uploading the files. Once done, "close window" and 'preview post' to make sure you have the pics needed. |
k lets see what happens....
|
The picture in the preview is MASSIVE, how do I get a nice easy to see pic attachment?

OK,
It's not that big of a deal, I'm not a tech guy, and this whole excersize was to just get an idea of what it may sell for in a particular custom market. The car exists... :) |

12-14 realistically. I know how it feels to lose money but its not worth much more than a clean stock m3. Mods don't add value really.
|
Cars are never an investment. It was a lot of fun, but it does demand a lot of time and money to maintain this car properly, which the receipts certainly show!
Maybe I'm just getting too old to be always tweaking or fixing something! I bet if I listed the mods for sale, there would be a line up to buy them! I suppose I could revert the car to stock and sell off parts...I guess its a little late in the season for this, so we'll reevaluate in the spring. |
Car looks clean! Best way to scoop some of the money back would be to sell the mods and turn the car back to stock
