Want to check your cars history for free?

Little trick someone posted on r3v.

Google
dealer autocheck inurl:vin
Look for a recent history report from a dealership
Replace the vin at the end of the url with yours and hit enter

Viola.

Example

Replace the last 17 digits with your vin #

Try finding a new dealer check, that one might be expired if you used the one I posted

I think they finally caught on. Either that or I'm doing it wrong.

davericher20 10-08-2012 03:54 PM

Youre probably doing it wrong, cause i just did one this past week

I must be because when I clicked on this link http://www.lincolndealer.com/CPO/Aut...KE57Y21U261632 I got an error message so I couldn't replace the digits

Try a newer link, just follow the instructions. You have to look for links from dealers
