You must be a member of the The BMW Club of Canada or affiliate chapters. Membership fees are $62.15 (HST included).
If you've never participated before and would like to try it out for the first time you may do so as a guest for $60.00 as a one time allowance.
Register early and get your car ready. Be part of the track walk. This is the most important part to learn the course!
Late comers will have to get rides with other participants to learn the course. If you miss the track walk, and you may also miss out on your first practice run!
A Few Changes for 2012 . . .
For 2012, BMW Trillium Club is proud to announce we have collaborated efforts with CASC-OR regional autoslalom series for 1 of our events.
The May 20th Mosport DDT Autoslalom event will have a larger field, thus reducing the price of registration to $50.00 (members) $60.00 (non-members).
Due to the increased number of participants we cannot guarantee there will be any time left for “open lapping” after the competition.
Helmets are always mandatory. A recommendation of Snell 2000 or SA2000 or better is preferable.
Some loaner helmets will be available for rent, but this is on a first come, first serve basis. Helmet rentals are $10/day.
If you plan on competing towards the autoslalom finals & competition trophy (awarded at the Christmas Dinner)
we have decided to take your best results from 6 of 8 events (keep in mind Winter Go-Karting results also count for the later).
Registration for 2012 is to be done electronically via our website. You can pay by PayPal.
Memberships are also being done electronically and that feature is already up and running.
As usual with both facilities, washrooms will always be open for usage all day long. You can buy lunch at the onsite Powerade concession.
Lunch at Mosport DDT is included with participation.
You must be a member to be able to attend our Autoslalom events. If attending your first event for the season,
complete, please note that all observers, helpers, and passengers must complete a waiver.
Parents or guardians need to submit waivers for children.

P.P.S This event will (officially) no longer be called "Autocross", rather "Autoslalom"
You'd have to be nuts not to come to the May DDT event... $50 for members is as good a deal as you'll ever get for a DDT event... and if we do have time to go lapping, what a bonus. I can't wait to get my subframe fixed up and my sticky tires mounted up.
Just a side note, we will be using CASC's timing gear for the May 20th event, and all the times are up on a display screen for all to see (so we can see how many CASC guys we're ahead of!)
I like how you're respecting the SCCA's ownership of the word "autocross", but to hell with Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, or whatever the hell Mosport is called now, haha!

Is registration solely electronic or is it still possible for people to show up and register at the event the day of? Also, in the event that you pre-register but due to extenuating circumstances you can't make it, do you get credit that can be used towards another event?
Yes Registration is to be done electronically. If you are not a member, you won't be able to register electronically in which case you'll register in person the morning of. This is in an effort expedite registrations in the am.
If you can't make it after pre-registering we will issue a credit towards another event. There are no weather related refunds. It is a competition event rain/snow/sun. :)
Is there a fee to be a spectator in the crowd?

I would also like to mention that SPDA is graciously sponsoring our May 20th Solo 2autocross at the Mosport DDT. We would not be able to charge half price without their support for such an event! Thank-you SPDA!

....and engine too. M20 autox was FUN. M50 autox was FUNNER....and maybe M52 will be FUNNEST!

^^The May 20th event is 100% a go. The level of involvement from other sanction is in question but we're, like I said 100% a go.
