Where is everyone?

back in the day this forum was booming, where did everyone go?!?

dbworld4k 11-23-2016 02:50 PM

Where is everyone?

Facebook and StickeredCars'RUs - I mean BMWTN.

v_bimmer 11-23-2016 03:39 PM

Yeah this forum is not as active as it once was, everybody is mostly on Facebook, but there is lots of stupidity there in local BMW groups.

Good point! lol

P.s when are we having a FL-Max meet!?

bjsbrandon 11-30-2016 11:01 AM

There's some facebook groups for those that appreciate the older cars too...
A few friends and I started a group last year called BMW Classic GTA. I like the organization that forums provide but Facebook is pretty convenient and easier for sharing content. There's some new thing started by the grand tour trio called DriveTribe, maybe it will replace the facebook groups now

I'm still here! Surprisingly haven't met a single person outside the forum. Probably because no one likes me.

windwagen 12-19-2016 06:48 PM

Me too. I get the impression that I'm a different generation/age group than most of the members.... Let's see - I was in grade school when Michael Jackson was consistently at the top of the charts....

AlpWhitE46 12-20-2016 08:13 PM

I'm here! :)

I tell this to my brother and his friends all the time, who are in their 30s now, that they were the last of the car guy generation.

Millennials are brats. Give me the prestige and status, Give me free maintenance and insurance fraud. Give me a brochure so I know how much better my car is on paper than yours. They are literally like that guy at the beginning of Tokyo Drift with the viper.

Merry Christmas guys, forums simply aren't as popular as they once were. Still a great source of information, but lacking in the instant "gratification" for chatting etc..
