BMW X6 Black Edition

2003 with only 50,000km

Installation differed from some instructions included with the pedals (3 series based). I removed the plastic dead pedal - it's just velcroed down and pulls straight out (note 3 long straight plastic tabs you don't want to break) pull along inside edge a bit at a time until it comes free. I drilled and tapped the clutch and accelerator pedals as they were plastic (M4x0.7 for my screws). The accelerator needed to be tapped as the full length of the screws stayed within the plastic of the pedal where I drilled and there was no way to use the nuts that came with the pedals. Drilling into the brake pedal is hard as its the only steel pedal - I recommend using 2-sided tape to hold this pedal cover in place when you make the drill holes as these ones are critical to hit right. Drilling through the steel is very difficult as the metal is very hard

I thought this one had nice quality vs some others. Installation was easy, but it's a bit of a hassle routing the wire for the LED lighting until you figure out where to push the wire down into the trunk - there is a clearly visible gap right behind the drivers headrest, don't push the wire too far down as it needs to take a sharp turn towards the passenger side to take the best route.
